Brian Merry’s professional photography career started in 1997 in Banff, Banff National Park.  Brian is the president of the International Landscape Photographers’ Association, has more that 8 years of professional college instructor experience at Acadia University and Lakeland College in another field, and finally, he holds a BSc. with Honours in Biology from Acadia University.   

Start:  March 5 at 6:15 am in Banff (sunrise in Banff is at 7:17 am)

End:  March 7 at 7:45 pm (sunset in Banff is at 7:38 pm)

Meeting place:  The Banff Railway Station and Tourist Information Office, 327 Railway Ave., Banff, AB

Pickup at your hotel in Banff can also be arranged at your Banff Hotel before 6:15am on Friday.  Contact me after registering with your Banff Hotel details if you would like me to pick you up at your hotel.

Location:  Between Banff and the Columbia Icefields in Jasper along the Icefields Parkway in the heart of the Canadian Rockies!

Transportation:  **Included** We will be travelling together in a chartered tour vehicle

Accommodations:  Included at Lake Louise Inn on Friday and Saturday night.

What’s Included:  Meals, accommodations, transportation, evening presentations and field instruction

What’s not included:  Items of a personal nature

The Banff Landscape Photography Workshop is a weekend of intensive shooting and learning.  The emphasis of this event is on living a pro landscape photographers’ life during an intensive weekend of shooting day and night during the field workshop.  The only exception to living the pro landscape photographers life is that we’ll be staying in comfortable hotels and dining in restaurants for Breakfast and Supper.  Packed lunches are provided.  Join me as I host a loaded weekend of nature photography for you.

Please make sure that you’re well rested before you come to the workshop.  We will be staying up late sometimes to photograph the night sky.

I’ll have some reading material to give to you before you arrive in Banff to help give you to get a head start on the weekend.  We’ll also have material for you to access on the website after the weekend as well.  This material will help you to review what we presented to you during the workshop so you can go back and study the material later on at your own pace.

     Workshop and tour registration fees are not refundable or transferable to another person, tour, workshop or conference in the event a participant needs to cancel their spot.
